Requirements & Rewards

AC closes end of month at  23:59 EST
Requirements
  • 2 threads per month.
  • Each log thread needs a minimum of 2 comments by you.
  • Each network spam thread needs a minimum of 4 comments by you.
  • TDMs and inboxes are acceptable. Only one thread proof can be network spam.
  • Threads started the previous month are fine, but the tags to be counted must be from the current month.
  • Submit any time during the month before AC closes.
  • Keep in mind the Be active rule.
Hiatus
  • You get one hiatus every 3 months. If you hiatus in January, your next available hiatus is April.
  • Hiatuses are applied per player. You can't hiatus one character one month, then another the next.
  • Submit your hiatus at any point before AC closes by writing Hiatus in place of your AC proofs.
  • Retract your hiatus at any point before AC closes by editing your comment and submitting your AC proofs instead.
  • No strike system. If you fail AC or idle out, you can reapply after 30 days.
AC Bonus
AC Bonus is a reward you can claim once per month if the two proofs you submit for your standard Activity Check meet or exceed the requirements below.

You do not need to submit any extra threads. We'll judge based on the two threads you're already using to pass standard AC each month. An AC Bonus must be claimed by the next Activity Check period if you want something specific (i.e. if you qualify for a bonus in June, you need to claim it for July's AC period).

Don't worry! If you can't decide or don't specify, you'll receive a default bonus of 1 lucky coin. You can turn the coin into the mods at any time for a boost in luck to help your character get out of some in-game consequences. For example, if your character's supremely broke, you can use a lucky coin, and we'll give them a stroke of fortune like stumbling across a wallet with cash in it.
Requirements
  • Your AC proofs for the month must both be log threads. No network spam.
  • The combined comment total of both submitted log threads must meet or exceed 15 comments by you.
  • You must have 15 comments or more using the two threads alone. You may not submit multiple short threads to reach the requirements.

How to Claim
  • If you meet or exceed the requirements, we'll reply to your AC submission when processing and let you know you've earned something.
  • When submitting for next month's AC, fill in the Bonus Request section with what you want or ask for a lucky coin.
  • Once approved, your character will receive it during one of their diffusion zone trips.
  • Morphs don't need to be permanent. If you change your mind, it'll disappear after any trip through a diffusion zone.
  • If you let us know upfront you're making a morph temporary, you can get away with more or something bigger.
Using a Lucky Coin
  • Reply to the mod comment under the AC submission where we gave you a coin and say what bad situation you want to apply it to.
  • Once it's used, we'll reply to you again to mark it so. If your coin doesn't have a comment saying you used it, it's still available.
  • You can't stack coins for a bigger effect.
  • Coins don't expire. Use them any time.
Available Upgrades
Canon Item
Find a meaningful and personal item for your character from their canon in a diffusion zone. The item must be small. No weapons. Examples are: a family photograph, a locket belonging to a lover, etc.
Body Morph
Change something minor about your character when they pass through a diffusion zone: hair, fangs, a detachable eyeball, etc. Little spells work, too, but they must be a bit weird. Body horror is encouraged.
Vehicle Morph
Change something about your ride when it passes through a diffusion zone. It'll take on a strange quality—disturbing paint job, a thick slime that reinforces your tires, a horn with a horrible scream that scares raiders. Bizarre, but not harmful. It might be useful!
Weapon Morph
Change something about a weapon when it passes through a diffusion zone. It'll take on a strange quality—teeth that line your dagger, an eyeball on your scope that increases accuracy, a gooey blob that functions like a silencer. Generally, the morph is helpful, if odd.
∞ Activity Check Form ∞
  1. Post a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
  2. Reply to that top-level comment with your CHARACTER NAME in the subject line for each character you play.
  3. Fill out the form below and comment under each character's top level with the MONTH in the subject line.
