Be respectful.
Respect boundaries, always err on the side of asking permission and be patient with each other. Don't godmod or infomod. Keep IC/OOC lines separate. Stay IC and keep your character recognizable. Don't use your character as a mouthpiece.
Be collaborative.
Our goal is to keep things from feeling restrictive, but that means communicating with your fellow players and following the spirit of the game is extra important. Please don't look for loopholes or argue technicalities just to get away with something. If you're not sure, ask!
Be active.
Minimum AC is low for the occasional bad month or in case your threads are stalled beyond your control, but you're expected to be active and reliable. This means replying to and completing threads in a timely manner. The game is designed so that you get out of it as much as you put in. If you're constantly doing the bare minimum, or if you're spamming tags over only a few days before disappearing the rest of the month, you'll be asked to leave. We will be especially strict if your inconsistency is infringing on castmates or close CR.
Don't powergame.
Since we've allowed most abilities, you're expected to temper them yourself. If a character can magically summon anything, don't pull a nuclear warhead out of nowhere. If you don't think you can keep them from acting on those powers and remain IC, talk to us and we'll give you more personalized restrictions to help.
Warn for content.
Make sure you warn for sensitive and/or explicit content in the subject. NSFW threads don't always need to be locked or moved, but if the NSFW bits aren't hidden in a collapsed portion of the thread (i.e. anyone scrolling past can see the NSFW text out in the open), then move it to a separate location or lock the post.
Contact us for any reason.
We're here to keep your experience as smooth as possible. If you have a question, a concern, or anything at all, just drop us a line and we'll do our best to help you.
