Ideally, the precise year is less important than its general appearance! If it looks too futuristic, sleek, or modern, then we would generally say no, but if it's a very plain and dusty 2011 car without any bells and whistles, that's completely fine!

The only thing we'd ask is it does not have any modern systems inside it, i.e. no modern gps, safety features, bluetooth, air conditioning, music players, airbag, etc.
